HK Eklöven was one of 324 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016. They participated with two teams in Pojkar 2002 B1 and Pojkar 2001 B2 respectively. The team in Pojkar 2001 B2 made it to the the Semi final in C-Slutspel, but lost it against Växjö HF 2 by 13-14.
