In addition to the two Gustavsbergs teams, 43 other teams played in Flickor 2000 A1. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof Gustavsbergs IF HK 2 could be found in Group 5 together with GW Landskrona HK, H43 Lund 2, Näsby Handboll 3, Kärra HF Göteborg, HK Silwing/Troja Sthlm 1, IF Hellton, Kristianstad HK 3 and IK Lågan Hörby.

Gustavsbergs IF HK 2 continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 6:th place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against IFK Tumba Sthlm 1 with 9-16. In the Final, IFK Tumba Sthlm 1 won over H 65 Höör 2 and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Flickor 2000 A1.
