In addition to the three Haninge Stockholm teams, 56 other teams played in Flickor 2005 D2. They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof Haninge HK Stockholm 3 could be found in Group 2 together with Kristianstad HK 4, Eslövs IK 1, Åhus Handboll 4, IK Lågan Hörby 1, H43 Lund 3, Kävlinge HK 1, Halmstad Handboll 2, Tyresö Handboll 2 and IFK Bankeryd 2.

Haninge HK Stockholm 3 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 2:nd place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Huddinge HK Sthlm 2 with 6-7. In the Final, Trelleborg HBK 1 won over Näsby Handboll 1 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Flickor 2005 D2.
