In addition to the two Staffanstorps teams, 67 other teams played in Flickor 2004 C1. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof Staffanstorps HK 2 could be found in Group 1 together with Tollarps IF 1, Vinslövs HK 1, Huddinge HK Sthlm 2, LUGI HF 2, Gökstens BK Torshälla, Karlskrona Handboll 2, Veberöds HK 1, HK Hök Laholm and Kristianstad HK 1.

Staffanstorps HK 2 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Ystads IF HF with 9-10. In the Final, Ystads IF HF won over Vinslövs HK 2 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Flickor 2004 C1.
