Svärmorsdrömmarna was one of 324 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016. They participated with one team in Motionsklass Herrar.
In addition to Svärmorsdrömmarna, 59 other teams played in Motionsklass Herrar. They were divided into 12 different groups, whereof Svärmorsdrömmarna could be found in Group 7 together with SHK,s Kvicksandare, Banana Found Guilty, ÄLMHULT OLDBOYS and Uma-Ness från Skåne. Svärmorsdrömmarna continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 4:th place in Group 7. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Grabbarna Grus with 5-7. In the Final, BK ore won over Grabbarna Grus and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Motionsklass Herrar. Svärmorsdrömmarna comes from Vinslöv which lies approximately 32 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around Vinslöv does also provide 100 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016 (Among others: Vinslövs HK, Team Elgocell, H 65 Höör, IK Lågan Hörby, Kristianstad HK, IFK Kristianstad, Tollarps IF, Näsby Handboll, Nellans Soldater and BK ore). 8 games playedGoals |
