Barbapapporna & jag was one of 324 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016. They participated with one team in Öppen klass Herrar.
In addition to Barbapapporna & jag, 31 other teams played in Öppen klass Herrar. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Barbapapporna & jag could be found in Group 4 together with KFUM Kalmar HK, Kävlingebeach, Upsala IF, Ziggy Pausen, La Bamba, Nossebro IF and Näsby Handboll 1. Barbapapporna & jag continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 6:th place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against KSK ULTRAS with 6-11. In the Final, Blom City Acadamy HK won over KSK ULTRAS and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Öppen klass Herrar. Barbapapporna & jag comes from Tumba which lies approximately 420 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place.
