Utvecklingsklassen was one of 324 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016. They participated with one team in Motionsklass Herrar.
In addition to Utvecklingsklassen, 59 other teams played in Motionsklass Herrar. They were divided into 12 different groups, whereof Utvecklingsklassen could be found in Group 8 together with Klitor IS, Team Roslagen, Team Andersson and Akuse Me. Utvecklingsklassen continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 8. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Mmm Tacos with 7-9. In the Final, Mmm Tacos won over Svetten Rinner and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Motionsklass Herrar. Utvecklingsklassen comes from Lund which lies approximately 76 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place.
