IF Hellton F00

IF Hellton was one of 324 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016. They participated with one team in Flickor 2000 A1.

In addition to IF Hellton, 44 other teams played in Flickor 2000 A1. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof IF Hellton could be found in Group 5 together with GW Landskrona HK, H43 Lund 2, Näsby Handboll 3, Kärra HF Göteborg, Gustavsbergs IF HK 2, HK Silwing/Troja Sthlm 1, Kristianstad HK 3 and IK Lågan Hörby.

IF Hellton continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 7:th place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against H43 Lund 3 with 7-8. In the Final, IFK Tumba Sthlm 1 won over H 65 Höör 2 and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Flickor 2000 A1.

Hellton comes from Karlstad which lies approximately 390 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. Other than IF Hellton, the club As-kalas does also originate from the area around Karlstad.
