Silver medal! Reached second place in A-Slutspel

Eslövslågan was one of 324 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016. They participated with one team in Motionsklass Damer.

In addition to Eslövslågan, 39 other teams played in Motionsklass Damer. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Eslövslågan could be found in Group 6 together with Fredriks Favoriter, BK Mjölksyra, Tiffamys and IK Pandora Guldtackor Y.

Eslövslågan made it to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 6. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against Bortamatchen with 9-10. Thereby Eslövslågan finished second in MKD A-Slutspel during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016.

Eslövslågan comes from Ytterby which lies approximately 260 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around Ytterby does also provide 18 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016 (Among others: Alingsås HK, Torslanda HK Göteborg, Redbergslids IK Gbg, Trötta fotbollsspelare, Kärra HF Göteborg, Div2podden, Önnereds HK Gbg, IK Sävehof Partille, Kungälvs HK and InTeern).
