Div2podden was one of 284 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017. They participated with one team in Öppen klass Herrar.
In addition to Div2podden, 31 other teams played in Öppen klass Herrar. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Div2podden could be found in Group 3 together with IFK Kristianstad 2, Böffes jr, Vallentuna HK Stockholm Jarå!, Hakunamatata, Kärleken boys, Västkustsk hästkusk HL and Back in the days. Div2podden continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 4:th place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against H-town HK with 6-14. In the Final, Mormors pojkar won over Kärleken boys and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Öppen klass Herrar. Div2podden comes from Alingsås which lies approximately 250 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around Alingsås does also provide 7 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017 (Flensborg, Kärra HF Göteborg, Alingsås HK, IK Sävehof Partille, Kungälvs HK, IK Baltichov Gbg and Redbergslids IK Gbg). 8 games playedGoals |
