IF Metall MittSkåne was one of 284 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017. They participated with one team in Motionsklass Herrar.
In addition to IF Metall MittSkåne, 59 other teams played in Motionsklass Herrar. They were divided into 12 different groups, whereof IF Metall MittSkåne could be found in Group 8 together with Heeeeeman, Strömberg HC, Ziggy Pausen and Föräldrateamet EIK F06. IF Metall MittSkåne continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 5:th place in Group 8. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Brazzers Finest with 4-12. In the Final, IFK ICE AGE won over Daddy Cool and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Motionsklass Herrar. Metall MittSkåne comes from Hässleholm which lies approximately 42 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place.
