In addition to Redbergslids IK Gbg, 49 other teams played in Pojkar 2000 A2. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof Redbergslids IK Gbg could be found in Group 4 together with Enköpings HF 3, Lugi HF 1, Huddinge HK Sthlm 1, Halmstad Handboll 3, Uppsala HK 3, IFK Kristianstad 1, Eslövs HF 1, Tyresö Handboll and KFUM Kalmar HK 1.

Redbergslids IK Gbg continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 5:th place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Halmstad Handboll 1 with 6-11. In the Final, Halmstad Handboll 1 won over HK Aranäs Kungsbacka and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Pojkar 2000 A2.

Redbergslids IK Gbg also participated in Pojkar 2000 A1 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016. They reached the 1/8 Final in P00 A-Slutspel, but lost it against Enköpings HF 1 with 8-9.
