In addition to the two Bjärnums teams, 33 other teams played in Flickor 2008 E. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof Bjärnums HK 2 could be found in Group 1 together with IFK Kristianstad 1, H 65 Höör 2, Åhus Handboll 2 and Veberöds HK 2.

Bjärnums HK 2 continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Trelleborg HBK with 2-5. In the Final, Trelleborg HBK won over IFK Bankeryd and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Flickor 2008 E.
