In addition to Veberöds HK, 77 other teams played in Pojkar 2002 B2. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Veberöds HK could be found in Group 5 together with Ljunghusens HK 1, Alingsås HK 3, Ystads IF HF 4, IFK Kristianstad 4, H43 Lund 5, HK Aranäs Kungsbacka 2, Växjö HF 2, IF Guif Eskilstuna 2 and Hammarby IF Sthlm 1.

Veberöds HK continued to C-Slutspel after reaching 9:th place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against IFK Bankeryd with 5-10. In the Final, HK Ankaret Bjärred Lag 1 won over HK Eklöven and became the winner of C-Slutspel in Pojkar 2002 B2.
