In addition to the two IFK Malmö teams, 33 other teams played in Flickor 2008 E. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof IFK Malmö HF 1 could be found in Group 3 together with LVHK Lödde 2, Vinslövs HK 1, IFK Bankeryd and IFK Kristianstad 2.

IFK Malmö HF 1 continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Ystads IF HF 2 with 3-7. In the Final, Trelleborg HBK won over IFK Bankeryd and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Flickor 2008 E.
