Sandy Balls was the only club from USA that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017. They participated with one team in Motionsklass Herrar.

They were divided into 12 different groups, whereof Sandy Balls could be found in Group 11 together with Granatgrabbarna, IFK Gentlemen 2, Upp med Händerna Hands Up and Räddningstjänsten syd. Sandy Balls continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group 11. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Granatgrabbarna with 4-11. In the Final, Utvecklingsklassen won over Genföreningen and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Motionsklass Herrar.
