Ålstars fc was one of 254 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They participated with one team in Motionsklass Herrar.
In addition to Ålstars fc, 59 other teams played in Motionsklass Herrar. They were divided into 12 different groups, whereof Ålstars fc could be found in Group 3 together with CSC Älmhult Mix, Enter Sandman, Svetten Rinner and SuperDABs. Ålstars fc continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 4:th place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Eddes Hussar with 13-15. In the Final, Räddningstjänsten Syd won over Svärmorsdrömmarna and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Motionsklass Herrar. Ålstars fc originates from Åhus, which is the same city as where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place.
