IFK Kristianstad 1 made it to A-Slutspel after reaching 6:th place in Group 1. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against SG Flensburg Handewitt 1, which they won with 7-6. Thereby IFK Kristianstad 1 won the entire A-Slutspel in Elit Herr during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. IFK Kristianstad also participated in Elit Herr during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017.
