SG Flensburg Handewitt 2 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against IFK Kristianstad 1 with 4-8. In the Final, IFK Kristianstad 1 won over SG Flensburg Handewitt 1 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Elit Herr. SG Flensburg Handewitt also participated in Elit Herr during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017.
