Spillers ÖKH

Spillers was one of 254 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They participated with one team in Öppen klass Herrar.

In addition to Spillers, 39 other teams played in Öppen klass Herrar. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof Spillers could be found in Group 5 together with Knäckebröderna, Trinte Racing, Mölndals ÖK, Vinslövs HK, Stockholmsbolaget, Böffes JR and Tollo Linear AB.

Spillers continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 4:th place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against O.J und das Krankenwagenschmetterlings with 7-8. In the Final, Vinslövs HK won over Böffes JR and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Öppen klass Herrar.

Spillers comes from Helsingborg which lies approximately 99 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around Helsingborg does also provide 12 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018 (Among others: Dösjöbro IF, OV Helsingborg HK, Lingonligan, GW Landskrona HK, Kävlinge HK, Lödde Vikings HK, IK Sund, A-team, Knäckebröderna and Vikingarna).
