Strömberg HC continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against IFK Kristianstad Gentlemen 1 with 8-9. In the Final, Bygg & Vent i Syd AB won over Svetten Rinner and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Motionsklass Herrar.

Strömberg comes from TOLLARP which lies approximately 22 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around TOLLARP does also provide 67 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018 (Among others: Daddy Cool, Hv Vinslöv, WickieZ Änglar, Åhus Handboll, IFK Kristianstad, Kristianstad HK, IK Lågan Hörby, Mormors pojkar, Sommarpågarna and Ateljé Lyktan).
