Tectum was one of 254 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They participated with one team in Öppen klass Herrar.
In addition to Tectum, 39 other teams played in Öppen klass Herrar. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof Tectum could be found in Group 4 together with Fyrasvenskarendansk, USIF, G med lite T, Cribbes Crew, H-town, Lasse Spadez and HK Eklöven. Tectum continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 2:nd place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Näsby P96 with 5-8. In the Final, Vinslövs HK won over Böffes JR and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Öppen klass Herrar. Tectum comes from Vinslöv which lies approximately 32 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place.
