Vaniljglass was one of 254 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They participated with one team in Öppen klass Herrar.
In addition to Vaniljglass, 39 other teams played in Öppen klass Herrar. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof Vaniljglass could be found in Group 1 together with O.J und das Krankenwagenschmetterlings, Johan W's Väninnor, G Larsson Tigers, Ankarets Allstars, Cash Is King HC, el gatos and 2Flow. Vaniljglass continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 4:th place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Fyrasvenskarendansk with 10-12. In the Final, Fyrasvenskarendansk won over USIF and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Öppen klass Herrar. Vaniljglass comes from Kristianstad which lies approximately 15 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place.
