In addition to the two Kävlinge teams, 12 other teams played in Senior Förening Damer. They were divided into 2 different groups, whereof Kävlinge HK 2 could be found in Group 1 together with Vinslövs HK 2, IFK Kristianstad 2, Ystads IF HF, Kristianstad HK 1, Lugi HF and IFK Kristianstad 3.

Kävlinge HK 2 made it to A-Slutspel after reaching 2:nd place in Group 1. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against Kävlinge HK 1 with 11-12. Thereby Kävlinge HK 2 finished second in SFD A-Slutspel during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018.
