Ekes was one of 265 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2019. They participated with one team in Motionsklass Herrar.
In addition to Ekes, 58 other teams played in Motionsklass Herrar. They were divided into 12 different groups, whereof Ekes could be found in Group 11 together with Svärmorsdrömmarna, Gnesta Stars, Sygytt and Sågverket. Ekes continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 2:nd place in Group 11. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against IFK Tylö with 12-13. In the Final, Bygg & Vent i Syd AB won over Förortsungar...och Tomas and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Motionsklass Herrar. Ekes comes from Hörby which lies approximately 44 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place.
