In addition to IFK Ystad HK, 79 other teams played in Pojkar 2005. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof IFK Ystad HK could be found in Group 5 together with IFK Strängnäs, HK Aranäs 2, Vinslövs HK 1, IFK Kristianstad 1, Spånga HK, Tollarps IF 2, Lugi HF 1, Eksjö BK EBK and Önnereds HK.

IFK Ystad HK continued to C-Slutspel after reaching 10:th place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Kävlinge HK 1 with 11-12. In the Final, Kävlinge HK 1 won over Ystads IF HF 5 and became the winner of C-Slutspel in Pojkar 2005.

IFK Ystad HK also participated in Pojkar 2005 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They reached the 1/16 Final in P05 B-Slutspel, but lost it against IFK Kristianstad 1 with 6-10.
