Mattias was one of 265 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2019. They participated with one team in Öppen klass Damer.

In addition to Mattias, 27 other teams played in Öppen klass Damer. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Mattias could be found in Group 2 together with Powerpuffpinglorna, Lag Oklart, Republik skrik, Kävlinge HK, Hyfsat Bekanta and Leftovers.

Mattias continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Team van Stam with 8-9. In the Final, Team van Stam won over Lag Oklart and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Öppen klass Damer.

Mattias comes from Kristianstad which lies approximately 15 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around Kristianstad does also provide 57 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2019 (Among others: Åhus Guldkorn, H-town, Uti Bögda, Kryssjägarna HK, Hokkens påg e det!?, IFK Tylö, Josagrogg, Waypoint Kristianstad, Team Kungöl and Tollarps IF).
