Batgirls was one of 265 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2019. They participated with one team in Öppen klass Damer.

In addition to Batgirls, 27 other teams played in Öppen klass Damer. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Batgirls could be found in Group 4 together with Botulfsplatsens BK, Mias gummor, Lag Böjes, Nakengänget, HK Spräng and Vallentuna pitbulls.

Batgirls continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 2:nd place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Republik skrik with 6-9. In the Final, Team van Stam won over Lag Oklart and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Öppen klass Damer.

Batgirls comes from Eslöv which lies approximately 63 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around Eslöv does also provide 55 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2019 (Among others: Vakant, Staffanstorps HK, H-town, Köbepågarna, Republik skrik, Gröna Vagnen, IFK T-Bar, Risifrutti, GW Landskrona HK and Gubbalaget).
