Unicum was one of 265 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2019. They participated with one team in Öppen klass Herrar.

In addition to Unicum, 35 other teams played in Öppen klass Herrar. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof Unicum could be found in Group 3 together with Vallentuna Snipers, Nisse till landslaget, RassnberryTard & the Monkeyreekers, Spelstugan, Josagrogg, 2Flow and IFK T-Bar.

Unicum continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 5:th place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against KSK ultras with 8-9. In the Final, Vakant won over Upp med händerna and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Öppen klass Herrar.

Unicum comes from Kristianstaf which lies approximately 14 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around Kristianstaf does also provide 57 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2019 (Among others: Åhus Guldkorn, H-town, Uti Bögda, Kryssjägarna HK, Hokkens påg e det!?, IFK Tylö, Josagrogg, Mattias, Waypoint Kristianstad and Team Kungöl).
