Brunk hk was one of 205 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2022. They participated with one team in Öppen klass Herrar.
In addition to Brunk hk, 47 other teams played in Öppen klass Herrar. They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof Brunk hk could be found in Group 6 together with Erkan Open, HC Smutt, Bolton Big Ballers, Fräcka Falkarna 3, Eslövs Stolthet, Stora Röda Huset and HK Micro. Brunk hk continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 2:nd place in Group 6. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against BATMAN with 7-9. In the Final, Södra Rörum won over Obmir kh and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Öppen klass Herrar. Brunk comes from Bankeryd which lies approximately 220 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place.
