In addition to the four Ystads teams, 49 other teams played in Pojkar 13 år (födda 2009). They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof Ystads IF HF 1 could be found in Group 4 together with Tyresö Handboll RÖD, Vinslövs HK 2, Alingsås HK Blå, Åhus Handboll 2, Hammarby IF HF, HK Aranäs Vit, IK Lågan Hörby 2 and H43 Lund HF 3.

Ystads IF HF 1 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Uppsala HK with 13-14. In the Final, Ystads IF HF 4 won over Hammarby IF HF and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Pojkar 13 år (födda 2009).
