In addition to the four Ystads teams, 49 other teams played in Pojkar 13 år (födda 2009). They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof Ystads IF HF 3 could be found in Group 3 together with Norrköpings HK, IK Bolton, IFK Kristianstad Blå, Lödde Vikings HK LVHK P09, Marks HK Sand, HK Aranäs Svart, Dalby GIF 1 and Huddinge HK Blå.
Ystads IF HF 3 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 2:nd place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Ystads IF HF 4 with 8-14.
