In addition to the two IFK Malmö teams, 45 other teams played in Flickor 16 år (födda 2006). They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof IFK Malmö HF Gul could be found in Group 4 together with Haninge HK 1, Falu HK, Kristianstad HK Svart, Halmstad Handboll 2 Svart, Lugi HF 1, Växjö HF Gul, Önnereds HK 1, Uppsala HK 2 and Elvebyen HK.

IFK Malmö HF Gul continued to C-Slutspel after reaching 10:th place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against IFK Malmö HF Vit with 9-11. In the Final, IFK Malmö HF Vit won over IK Lågan Hörby and became the winner of C-Slutspel in Flickor 16 år (födda 2006).
