In addition to the two IFK Ystad teams, 42 other teams played in Pojkar 17 år (födda 2005). They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof IFK Ystad HK Svart could be found in Group 1 together with OV Helsingborg HK, Uppsala HK 2, IFK Kristianstad 1, Lödde Vikings HK vikings 2, H43 Lund HF 3, Halmstad Handboll 2, IFK Bankeryd and IFK Tumba HK Blå.

IFK Ystad HK Svart continued to C-Slutspel after reaching 9:th place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against IFK Tumba HK Blå with 10-17. In the Final, IFK Tumba HK Blå won over IK Sävehof and became the winner of C-Slutspel in Pojkar 17 år (födda 2005).
