AIK was one of 205 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2022. They participated with one team in Motionsklass Herrar.

In addition to AIK, 28 other teams played in Motionsklass Herrar. They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof AIK could be found in Group 5 together with Klubb VG, Lärjungarna, Eddes Hussar and Strandhandboll.

AIK made it to A-Slutspel after reaching 2:nd place in Group 5. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against 6 grillade & 1 pølse with 4-6. Thereby AIK finished second in MKH A-Slutspel during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2022.
