Mormors pojkar was one of 205 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2022. They participated with one team in Öppen klass Herrar.
In addition to Mormors pojkar, 47 other teams played in Öppen klass Herrar. They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof Mormors pojkar could be found in Group 3 together with Anfallsglada Lödde, Näsby P96, G med lite T, BRUNS -always great hairday, Josagrogg, Stockholms Brons Brons and Hassan. Mormors pojkar continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Helgardering with 7-8. In the Final, ÅlisÄrInteSingel won over Helgardering and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Öppen klass Herrar. Mormors pojkar comes from Kristianstad which lies approximately 14 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place.
