MFF was one of 205 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2022. They participated with one team in Öppen klass Herrar.

In addition to MFF, 47 other teams played in Öppen klass Herrar. They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof MFF Halsti FF could be found in Group 1 together with Helgardering, Tollarps IF 2, POWERHEAT, Södra Rörum, Mammas pojkar, Nisse till landslaget and Smidings Knegar.

MFF Halsti FF continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Södra Rörum with 8-10. In the Final, Södra Rörum won over Obmir kh and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Öppen klass Herrar.

MFF comes from Furulund which lies approximately 79 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around Furulund does also provide 47 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2022 (Among others: POWERHEAT, Veberöds HK, Eddes Hussar, Goal Diggers, HK Micro, HF Limhamn, Eslövs HF, Dalby GIF, Eslöv and Quicksand).
