Vakant HK was one of 205 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2022. They participated with one team in Öppen klass Herrar.
In addition to Vakant HK, 47 other teams played in Öppen klass Herrar. They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof Vakant HK could be found in Group 4 together with MOULDEX, Taksäkerhet Syd, Mönsterås HK Bortgift 2023, HK Tröstpris, Grabbaura HKG, Sporthallens BOIS and Moraltanterna. Vakant HK continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Södra Rörum with 8-9. In the Final, Södra Rörum won over Obmir kh and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Öppen klass Herrar. Vakant comes from Tibro which lies approximately 280 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place.
