In addition to the two Åhus teams, 36 other teams played in Pojkar 12 år (födda 2011). They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Åhus Handboll 1 could be found in Group 2 together with IFK Kristianstad 3, H43 Lund HF 2 H43 Blå, Dalby GIF 2, Ystads IF HF Vit, Haninge HK, Eslövs HF Vit, HF Karlskrona Grön, Halmstad Handboll Röd and IFK Malmö HF 2.

Åhus Handboll 1 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 2:nd place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Ystads IF HF Vit with 10-12. In the Final, Ystads IF HF Vit won over Dalby GIF 2 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Pojkar 12 år (födda 2011).
