Släktkalset was one of 226 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2023. They participated with one team in Öppen klass Herrar.

In addition to Släktkalset, 54 other teams played in Öppen klass Herrar. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof Släktkalset could be found in Group 6 together with Josagrogg, Super-gubbar fc, Fräcka Falkarna 3, G med lite T, Täby MNT FC and Lödde Vikings HK Abbes drängar.

Släktkalset continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group 6. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against MÅSTE VILA with 8-9. In the Final, Kärlekens boys won over SALOS DRÄPARE and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Öppen klass Herrar.

Släktkalset comes from ALINGSÅS which lies approximately 250 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around ALINGSÅS does also provide 9 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2023 (IK Sävehof, HK Bollebygd, Kärra HF, Redbergslids IK, Potatiskungarna, Wilma Thelandersson, Alingsås HK, Bikini Bottom and Ale Handboll).
