Kärlekens boys was one of 226 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2023. They participated with one team in Öppen klass Herrar.
In addition to Kärlekens boys, 54 other teams played in Öppen klass Herrar. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof Kärlekens boys could be found in Group 3 together with Böffes Söner, Mönsterås HK Raketforskarna BK, Bikini Bottom, Åhus Handboll, Salta BK, ÅlisÄrInteSingel and Avgå Alla. Kärlekens boys made it to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 3. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against SALOS DRÄPARE, which they won with 9-6. Thereby Kärlekens boys won the entire A-Slutspel in Öppen klass Herrar during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2023. Kärlekens boys comes from Halmstad which lies approximately 120 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place.
