In addition to the two Mönsterås teams, 53 other teams played in Öppen klass Herrar. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof Mönsterås HK Raketforskarna BK could be found in Group 3 together with Böffes Söner, Bikini Bottom, Åhus Handboll, Salta BK, ÅlisÄrInteSingel, Kärlekens boys and Avgå Alla.

Mönsterås HK Raketforskarna BK continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 8:th place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Svampbob Trekant with 6-17. In the Final, Avgå Alla won over Powerheat Radio and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Öppen klass Herrar.
