Svampbob Trekant was one of 226 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2023. They participated with one team in Öppen klass Herrar.

In addition to Svampbob Trekant, 54 other teams played in Öppen klass Herrar. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof Svampbob Trekant could be found in Group 7 together with Mönsterås HK Energikrisen BK, Vakant HK, U-Laget, Joulupukki, Jaga FC, Södra Lund and Powerheat Radio.

Svampbob Trekant continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 5:th place in Group 7. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Avgå Alla with 8-13. In the Final, Avgå Alla won over Powerheat Radio and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Öppen klass Herrar.

Svampbob Trekant also participated in Motionsklass Herrar during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2022. They reached the 1/4 Final in MKH A-Slutspel, but lost it against Sillahue with 7-8.

Svampbob Trekant originates from Åhus, which is the same city as where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around Åhus does also provide 48 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2023 (Among others: Fräcka Falkarna 3, Gott & blandat, MÅSTE VILA, IF Kristianstad, Ceimertz, Jaga FC, Avgå Alla, Åhus Horna BK, Freaks in the Spreadsheets and KaffeKaga Beach Handball Club).
