In addition to the two Mönsterås teams, 53 other teams played in Öppen klass Herrar. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof Mönsterås HK Energikrisen BK could be found in Group 7 together with Vakant HK, U-Laget, Joulupukki, Jaga FC, Södra Lund, Powerheat Radio and Svampbob Trekant.

Mönsterås HK Energikrisen BK continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 8:th place in Group 7. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Claessons lärjungar with 7-14. In the Final, Avgå Alla won over Powerheat Radio and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Öppen klass Herrar.
