Bikini Bottom was one of 226 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2023. They participated with one team in Öppen klass Herrar.

In addition to Bikini Bottom, 54 other teams played in Öppen klass Herrar. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof Bikini Bottom could be found in Group 3 together with Böffes Söner, Mönsterås HK Raketforskarna BK, Åhus Handboll, Salta BK, ÅlisÄrInteSingel, Kärlekens boys and Avgå Alla.

Bikini Bottom continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 6:th place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against HK Micro with 6-13. In the Final, Avgå Alla won over Powerheat Radio and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Öppen klass Herrar.

Bikini Bottom comes from alingsås which lies approximately 250 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around alingsås does also provide 9 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2023 (IK Sävehof, HK Bollebygd, Kärra HF, Redbergslids IK, Potatiskungarna, Wilma Thelandersson, Alingsås HK, Släktkalset and Ale Handboll).
