Bugo and the buddies was one of 226 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2023. They participated with one team in Öppen klass Herrar.
In addition to Bugo and the buddies, 54 other teams played in Öppen klass Herrar. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof Bugo and the buddies could be found in Group 4 together with HK Psyk, Dalby, Eslövsstolthet, Chalmers HK, Ful men sexig, JÖKA and Krister och pojkarna. Bugo and the buddies continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 5:th place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Bolton Big Ballers 4 with 10-11. In the Final, Avgå Alla won over Powerheat Radio and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Öppen klass Herrar. Bugo and the buddies comes from Kristianstad which lies approximately 15 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place.
