Nybro HK was one of 226 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2023. They participated with one team in Pojkar 16 år (födda 2007).

In addition to Nybro HK, 45 other teams played in Pojkar 16 år (födda 2007). They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof Nybro HK could be found in Group 4 together with Uppsala HK UHK P07, Lugi HF 1, IFK Kristianstad 2, IK Sävehof, Täby HBK 2, HK Aranäs Svart, Halmstad Handboll Röd and IFK Bankeryd 1.

Nybro HK continued to C-Slutspel after reaching 9:th place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against HK Bollebygd Grön with 9-11. In the Final, Halmstad Handboll Svart won over IFK Bankeryd 2 and became the winner of C-Slutspel in Pojkar 16 år (födda 2007).

Nybro HK also participated in Pojkar 15 år (födda 2007) during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2022. They reached the 1/8 Final in P15 (f. 2007) C-Slutspel, but lost it against IFK Kristianstad 1 with 6-14.

Nybro comes from Nybro which lies approximately 130 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around Nybro does also provide three additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2023 (Amo HK, Los cuarto intentos and Rinkabyhult).
