In addition to HK Malmö, 23 other teams played in Pojkar 18 år (födda 2005). They were divided into 3 different groups, whereof HK Malmö could be found in Group 3 together with Växjö HF, Uppsala HK Unga, Redbergslids IK, HK Aranäs, Uppsala HK 2, Vinslövs HK 2, H43 Lund HF and Halmstad Handboll 2.

HK Malmö made it to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 3. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against IFK Ystad HK with 9-11. Thereby HK Malmö finished second in P18 (f. 2005) A-Slutspel during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2023.
