In addition to the two Åhus teams, 14 other teams played in Senior Förening Damer Classic. They were divided into 2 different groups, whereof Åhus Handboll 1 could be found in Group 1 together with IFK Karlskrona, Halmstad Handboll 2, Staffanstorps HK 2, Vinslövs HK 2, IFK Malmö HF 2, IK Lågan Hörby and Hässleholms HF 1.

Åhus Handboll 1 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Vinslövs HK 2 with 6-7. In the Final, Halmstad Handboll 1 won over Vinslövs HK 2 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Senior Förening Damer Classic.
