VästeråsIrsta HF was one of 251 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2024. They participated with three teams in Pojkar 18 år Classic (födda 2006), Flickor 17 år Classic (födda 2007) and Flickor 18 år Classic (födda 2006) respectively. The team in Flickor 18 år Classic (födda 2006) made it to the the 1/8 Final in A-Slutspel, but lost it against Halmstad Handboll 3 by 7-9.

In addition to this, VästeråsIrsta HF have participated in Åhus Beachhandboll Festival before. During Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2023, VästeråsIrsta had two teams playing in Pojkar 17 år (födda 2006) and Flickor 17 år (födda 2006) respectively. The team in Flickor 17 år (födda 2006) made it to the the Final in C-Slutspeland won it over IK Lågan Hörby by 11-10.

VästeråsIrsta comes from VÄSTERÅS which lies approximately 430 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around VÄSTERÅS does also provide four additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2024 (Västerås Slitna HF, Gökstens BK, Eskilstuna Guif IF and HK Eskil).
